Coach Daff for many years brought a well coached boxing team to the Chattanooga Golden Gloves. in the early 60's I boxed a couple of his students. For last 4 years Red Bank's Skipper Fairbanks has hosted a GG Reunion at our "Luken" gym, behind Red Bank High School. I was able to rekindle Coach Daff's friendship from our good 'ol days. I was extremely glad to remises over old scrapbooks and stories of wonderful days gone by.

Bryant, I'm so glad we were able to reconnect later in our lives. I will miss our conversations and recollections of our early years. You will truly be missed. Rest in peace.

My sincere sympathy is expressed to the family of Bryant Daffron. He was a very dear friend of mine. I cherish the 7 yrs. I knew him. We laughed together, cried and enjoyed being together. I will miss him sorely. Love to the family Louise Welch

I only met this giant of a man once, but he was a dear friend of my sister's (Louise Welch). She thought the world of him, and it seemed to be mutual. He was an outstanding man, with lots of good stories and a sharp sense of humor. He will be missed by all who knew him.
