I was saddened to hear this. I went to school with Janeane in the 9th grade in Calhoun, GA. I remember her as that young girl in the picture on this site (she will be forever young to me). She was the sweetest person. We corresponded for a time after that and she and Gene visited us once in Albertville, AL, after I was married. I lost touch with her after that, because we moved around so much with my husband's job. But I've thought of her often. As a matter of fact, I found this while looking for her. So you can imagine how I felt when I found it. I want to extend my deepest sympathy to all of her family. And also for the loss of Gene, who was a friend, too. See you in the Morning, Gene and Janeane.

It's been so long since I have seen her but some of my best childhood memories were made with this amazing woman.I will never forget the kindness she always showed to our family. My heart goes out to her family and friends during this time.

Janeane was such a dear soul who babysat for my 2 daughters for many years. She was kind and loving. My youngest daughter had problems with milk and dairy products, and Janeane gave me quarts of goats milk for her. She was a true witness of Jesus love. My condolences to Gene, Rose, Christie, and the rest of her family. Thank-you all for sharing her with me. Jo Krome
