July 24, 1929 ~ September 28, 2015 (age 86) 86 Years Old

Pat St.Charles, Jr., 86, passed away peacefully on Monday morning, September 28th   with family at his side. He was a native of Hamilton County, Tennessee.

He was the only child of the late Pat St.Charles, Sr and Lucille Matlock St.Charles and was preceded in death by his grandson Alex St.Charles. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Jean Cooley St.Charles, his daughter Lynne St.Charles Hall (Charlie),  four sons Pat St.Charles, III (Merri Ann), Tony St.Charles (Nancy), Mike St.Charles (Judy), and Chris St.Charles (Lisa),  sixteen grandchildren Patrick St.Charles IV (Aden), Jesse St.Charles, Joe Yancey, Andrew St.Charles, Richard St.Charles (Armela), Matthew St.Charles, Sarah Yancey, Sam St.Charles (Mallory), David St.Charles (Jordan), Elle St.Charles, Wil St.Charles (Krista), Ryan Hall, David Hall, Erin Hall, Bonnie St.Charles, Lucy St.Charles, three great grandchildren Manoa Hall, Pax St.Charles and Mabry St.Charles.

He was a graduate of Notre Dame High School, University of Chattanooga, and McKenzie School of Law. He served in the U.S. Army as an enlisted man and as a Lieutenant. Pat was a Chattanooga businessman involved in real estate, manufacturing and finance. He was a principal owner of Pat St.Charles Co., Southern Realty Co., Chattanooga Wilbert Vault, and Citizens Savings & Loan.

Pat also served in leadership positions and as member of various organizations such the Chattanooga Board of Realtors, Signal Mountain Lions Club (Charter member), Society of Real Estate Appraisers, Signal Mountain Sportsman Association, Chattanooga Bar Association, Chattanooga and Signal Mountain Golf & Country Clubs.

He loved his family and friends and enjoyed sports especially golf, hunting, fishing, badminton, softball, playing cards and watching the Braves.  His leadership, love, and guidance will be missed by all.   His family expresses their thanks to caregivers who assisted him over the past several weeks.  

A visitation from 10:00 am to 11:00 am will precede 11:00 am funeral services at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church on Saturday October 3rd. A celebration of life will be held at Chattanooga Golf & Country Club at 1:30 pm.

The family requests donations be made to Notre Dame High School, Catholic Charities, or CHI Memorial Foundation in lieu of flowers.
