To my dear friend Ruth,
I am immensely saddened to learn of Paul's passing, and wish I had been able to keep in touch over the last few years.
I have nothing but the fondest of memories of great times together.
Thank you both for the wonderful memories, meals, laughter, and genuine friendship in years past.
I admire the the lives you lived together as husband and wife, and send my love to you and the entire family.

My heart is so broken over your passing, Paul. My memories of you and "Scoot" with Mom and Dad fill my heart with joy and laughter and love. My mind has rehearsed so many moments spent with you and Ruth going all the way back to my youth. You were there for the birth of my only child and he thinks of you guys as Aunt and Uncle, as do I. As heartbroken as I am today, it gives me comfort to know that you have been reunited with your family, your Savior and with my Dad today. Dad loved you so much and I know he is rejoicing to see his brother again. To Ruth, Mike and Michelle, you are in my heart and in my prayers today and in the weeks and months to come. I know your hearts are breaking. I love you all.
