To all the Millsaps, Susan's immediate family, and Susan's son, Peter, my grandson. I am extremely sorry for your loss and you have my sincerest, deepest condolences. Susan was like a daughter to me and I am having a very mournful time, also. Susan was one of the sweetest people I have ever know. She only saw the good in any individual. Peter, just remember your mother loved you dearly and I do too. God's blessings to all and to the new angel we now all know in Heaven.

I am extremely sad to hear about Susan's passing. She was often at PetSmart taking care of the adoptable cats for the East Ridge Shelter and I was there at the same time taking care of the cats for another organization. I had gotten to know Susan and thought she was an absolutely fabulous, kind-hearted person. I wish I had gotten to know her better. My prayers go out to her family and friends.

I'm so sorry for your loss! Please let me express my sincere condolences. Acts 24:15 says, "There is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous." Our loving, heavenly Father longs to bring the dead back to life in a peaceful paradise where no longer death comes to mind. (Rev. 21:3,4) May the "God of all comfort" be with you at this difficult time!

I was greatly sadden to hear of the passing of such a beautiful light. I will miss Susan greatly. She was certainly the center of the East Ridge Library staff. She was always smiling, funny and happy to see everyone that walked in the door. She was a wonderful friend to some of us and a compassionate listener. Again, she will be greatly missed. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Peter,
Your mom was such a special person, but you already knew that. I have never met anyone that faced so much do it with a smile and positive attitude. It's that smile and attitude that touched so many. God made such a sweet soul and gave her to us for what seems like such a short time. Heaven must have needed her to watch over His library. We can all learn a lesson or two from "Miss Susan". Mine is to always face each day, no matter what is going on in my life, with a smile and a cheery attitude. I hope I can do that just a tiny bit like your mom did everyday of her life. If everyone could be just a little bit like your mom, this world would be a better place.

I worked close by Susan for several years at UTC Lupton Library and we were friends then and continued to be when she took over at Easr Ridge Library! I was so proud for her to get the position and knew she would be great to work there! She was a great friend and it is sad and shocking to be writing here that she is gone! Only the Lord knows why and we are left to wonder and I pray for her son and family in this time of sudden grief and loss to us all!

Susan kept our East Ridge Library updated with computers and other things that were
needed. Most importantly though she and her staff made the library a warm and
pleasant place to be. She always took time to assist or explain things. I will miss
her smile.
